Role Overview
Kodak is looking for a Web Designer/Developer to join the Digital Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for improving the user experience and expanding site functionality in support of marketing and sales objectives for www.kodak.com. The ideal candidate should be a motivated self-starter with an interest in digital marketing and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a cross-functional team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and IT to plan, build and optimize kodak.com in support of key business initiatives
• Implement content updates
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements
• Create visually appealing and user-friendly website designs
• Research, recommend, document and implement new features and improvements for page design and web functionality
• Create wireframes and prototypes to visualize design concepts
• Manage the design system in Figma to ensure visual consistency and optimal user experience
• Implement analytics tags to track, measure and report on marketing activity
• Manage technical SEO and collaborate with CMO team on content SEO
• Perform development QA, including cross-browser and device testing
• Troubleshoot website issues
• Manage and work on multiple projects in parallel
• Collaborate with agencies and vendors
• Ensure website adheres to the latest compliance and accessibility standards
Required Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, User Experience, New Media or similar area
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS/SCSS and JavaScript; experience with frameworks like Vue.js, Nuxt.js
• Experience developing or configuring functionality for a web Content Management System
• Capable of creating responsive design interfaces with a user-friendly visual aesthetic
• Experience using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience gathering technical requirements and estimating tasks
• Experience with source code management tools, like GitHub
• Understanding of software development lifecycle processes
• Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals
• Working knowledge of web analytics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical co-workers
• Experience working in a team environment and collaborating with cross-functional groups
• Comfortable in a deadline-driven environment
• Committed to seeing projects through from start to finish and taking ownership of troubleshooting and problem solving
• Willing to learn new technologies and skills
