The Kodak Computer-To-Plate Output Device group is looking for a systems tester with a software quality assurance background to ensure that we continue to maintain the market leadership in CtP Output Devices and to develop more competitive products for the future.
CtP Output Devices are complex imaging devices that utilize state-of-the-art optics, electronics and mechanical design. The CtP Output Device diverse product portfolio successfully serves the offset and flexographic printing industries for over 25 years. Kodak’s CtP Output Devices with SquareSpotTM imaging technology are unique and widely recognized as the best in the industry.
As a System Tester, you will be a key part of our System Test team that is responsible for all our CTP (Computer-To-Plate) output device products.
The main responsibilities of the successful candidate will include:
• Review functional requirements for clarity and testability.
• Generate test cases to validate requirements.
• Perform integration, regression and system acceptance tests across multiple environments.
• Write problem reports and validate bug fixes.
• Execute performance tests to qualify new computer models on multiple OS platforms.
• Support technical writers to prepare customer and service documentation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Computer Science, BASc (Electrical) or post-secondary education in technical areas such as robotics or computer science
• At least 3 years working as a Quality Assurance Analyst or Software Tester
• Solid foundational understanding of software testing concepts, principles and practices
• Highly self-motivated, hands-on, and self-managed
• Able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent written & verbal communication and technical documentation skills
• Good interpersonal skills, including teamwork, respect, courtesy, tact, and discretion
Preferred qualifications:
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
• Experience with automated testing tools or software development
• Experience operating equipment with automation or robotics
