Eastman Kodak is seeking an innovative and motivated Chemical Engineering Intern to join our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about formulations of electrodes for Li-Ion batteries, as well as assembling and testing coin-cells. The ideal candidate should have a strong educational background in chemical engineering, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment. Qualifications:

•Applicant must be currently enrolled at an accredited university, majoring in Chemical Engineering or related degreed program.
•The ideal candidate should have a strong educational background in chemical engineering, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
•Preference will be given to students that have completed at least one Co-Op term working with electrode formulations or assembling and testing Li-ion battery coin cells. 


Responsibilities:

•The co-op will gain experience both in formulation electrodes for Li-ion batteries as well as testing of coated electrodes including assembly and cycling of coin cells. 
•Provide chemical engineering support as needed under the direction of his or her mentor. 
•Discuss procedures to be followed, conduct experiments adhering to safety protocols, document experiment observations, and characterization results.
