Chemical Engineering Intern

Kodak is currently looking to fill multiple undergraduate intern positions in our Technology Solutions Group for the Summer 2026.  These positions involve the development of structure/property relationships for new adhesive interlayers used in inkjet packaging applications.  The work includes formulation, coating and physical characterization of materials and adhesive performance.  Another aspect of the position includes supporting the current production of an optical film used in printing and characterizing the drying process for a new coating solvent.

At our Rochester NY R&D labs you will work collaboratively with other engineers and chemists. The project is designed to provide you experience both in design and analysis methods as well as analytical and physical property testing methods.

Desired skills and experience:

• Current student majoring in chemistry or chemical engineering and have completed at least 2 years of college education
• Hands-on chemical lab experience
• Strong record keeping skills (hardcopy and electronic filing)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-functional team environment
• Good communication skills, written and oral.
