Role Overview

 

As the Supply Chain Analyst, you will be the supply planner for some of the key products for a specific customer. You will be the focal point person for planning these products as well as coordinating key components. You will work with the manufacturing team to plan capacity, coordinate supply, develop material requirements, and work with shipping to fulfill customer orders. 
In addition to the supply planner role, you will be leading and implementing special projects to enhance our supply chain processes. 

 

Projects:
•    Centralize supply chain activities in sensitizing area.
•    Work on projects to utilize SAP capabilities instead of offline spreadsheets.
•    Optimize capacity and labor for different operations during peak and nonpeak production times.
•    Resource for SAP users, form a super user group.

 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Supply (including components) and Capacity Planning
•    Inventory planning and optimization
•    Supply Chain Design
•    Product Development Gate Reviews
•    Root cause analysis for supply chain interruptions
•    Resource for the manufacturing areas
•    Project resource
•    Development and management of Planning Tools
     o    Planning / Order to Cash system (preferably SAP)
     o    Forecasting Models
     o    Excel Spreadsheets
•    Interface with suppliers and customers


Required Knowledge/Skills & Experience:
•    5+ years of supply chain planning experience and working knowledge of manufacturing processes.
•    Knowledge, prior application, and utilization of lean manufacturing tools and concepts
•    Knowledge, prior application, and utilization of ERP/Order to Cash systems (SAP highly preferred)
•    High level of written and verbal communications skills across all levels of the organization and with customer teams.
•    Analytical skills to be able to help find the root cause of problems and suggest corrective actions.
•    Strong excel skills and a desire to improve as needed.
•    Competitive and enthusiasm to win.
•    In this role, you are an advocate for the customer. However, need to balance challenges of optimizing manufacturing operations as well.
•    Independent, resourceful, and strong follow through work ethic
•    Minimum of four-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
