Mechanical Assembler

Role Overview

Kodak is seeking a skilled mechanical assembler to assemble large precision equipment. Expertise in working with hand tools and measurement instruments.  We are looking for skilled people who have a good history of work performance.

Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Performs assembly work as part of a team of skilled workers, engineering, and management personnel.
• Assembles machines such as high-speed rotating shafting, frame assemblies, gears and pulleys, motors, bearings, and belt conveyors using hand and power tools.
• Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, and fork trucks.
• Other duties as assigned by management including periodic travel.

Required Skills:

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Previous experience as an assembler, millwright, maintenance technician or equivalent of at least 5 years.
• Must have basic electrical and mechanical knowledge.

Working Conditions:

• Job tasks performed in an air-conditioned environment.
• Full-time first shift (dayshift) opportunities are available.
• Overtime and Saturday may be required as workload dictates.
