Kodak is looking for a chemical engineering co-op student, in a bachelor program to contribute to the development of our continuous inkjet technology digital print materials. Our continuous inkjet technology provides the opportunity to work on complex, multidisciplinary problems.  Engineering co-op projects involve understanding and analyzing these problems and proposing material design/process solution alternatives.  

 

At our Rochester NY R&D labs you will work with other engineers and chemists to develop coatings/primers, ink materials and processes for current and future generations of inkjet writing and printing press systems for the packaging market (www.wideformatimpressions.com/article/the-2020-intertech-technology-awards-innovations-worth-knowing-about/) You will work with a mentor engineer on lab/bench level testing and hands on coating and laminating processes  The co-op will gain experience both in design and analysis methods as well as analytical and physical property testing methods.
