Role Overview

 

The Service Maintenance Technician - Inkjet is responsible for the maintenance of the inkjet presses and printhead/jetting modules in a customer manufacturing environment. The Service Maintenance Technician will interface with the customer and Kodak Field Service Technician.  The focus of this position is on maximizing overall equipment effectiveness.

 

Job Duties:
• Perform system maintenance
• Ensure timely completion and recording of maintenance following established Standard   
   Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Act as customer liaison to resolve customer issues
• Inform Kodak management of issues affecting product performance
• Build strong relationships with Kodak technicians and customers
• Assist Kodak Field Technician

Education and Experience:
• Highschool degree or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Knowledge Digital Printing would be an asset
• Basic understanding of Color Theory would be an asset
• Solid understanding of electro-mechanical devices 

 

Work Environment:
• Customer manufacturing with multiple KODAK Inkjet Presses and Printheads
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, passport, and other designated information.
